Specifications:
Rust Shield can last anywhere from 6 - 12 months depending on how often you use your car off-road. We suggest checking before each trip to ensure you're protected.
How to check: Rust Shield leaves a hydrophobic barrier on your vehicles chassis. Once the hydrophobic properties start to fail It's time to reapply.
Pro Tip: If your Chassis doesn't rinse clean with a quick wash. Your Rust Shield coating may need topping up.
If you are a passionate off-roader or beach goer - you may need to reapply Rust Shield several times per year to ensure you stay protected.
How to Use:
Step 1: Pressure wash the appointed areas of your vehicle or trailer, best used with Salt Shifts All Purpose Cleaner.
Step 2: Allow to dry free of water residue
Step 3: Spray Salt Shift Rust Shield on
Step 4: Allow 3 hours to tack dry before any normal tarmac driving, then allow 3-4 days to cure and harden before any trail/beach driving, vessel launching or commuting on wet roads. Ensure to check if it has cured to a non-stick touch test prior to going off-road.
WEAR RESPIRATOR AND SAFETY GLASSES WHEN APPLYING.
ENSURE RUST SHIELD HAS FULLY CURED BEFORE GOING OFF ROAD (TOUCH TEST).
DO NOT APPLY TO EXHAUSTS OR ENGINES.
Warranty Information
Bushwakka-branded products are covered by a 12-month manufacturing warranty starting from the dispatch date. This covers defects in materials and workmanship only and does not include:
- Damage due to improper use or modifications
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by adverse conditions (e.g., weather)
Partner Brand Products: Follows manufacturer's warranty policy. See product manual or manufacturer's website for details. For partner-branded products, customers must contact the partner brand directly for warranty claims.
Freight & Delivery Information
Inspect Before Accepting: Always inspect the package BEFORE accepting it from the courier. If there is any visible damage (dents, tears, crushed corners, wet marks, etc.), DO NOT ACCEPT THE PACKAGE. Contact us immediately.
Ownership Transfers Immediately: As soon as you accept and sign for the package from the courier, responsibility transfers to you. Bushwakka is not liable for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs after delivery.
Check Contents Promptly: Inspect all items within 7 days of delivery. Report any missing or damaged parts immediately. Claims reported after 14 days may not be accepted due to difficulty determining the cause of damage.
Safe Drop Policy: If you request "safe drop" delivery (leaving package unattended), Bushwakka cannot accept responsibility for freight damage or theft after delivery.
